SLEEPY HOLLOW HOUSE

SAN ANSELMO, CA

DETAILS+

This small, but exquisitely detailed French Normandy style house, nestled in Sleepy Hollow, served as the starting point and inspiration for this renovation and 800 sf addition.

The renovation converted the existing rear kictchen into a formal dining room flanked by the existing stone chimney on one side and a row of new french doors opening to the patio on the other side. A small gallery leads to the addition which consists of a gourmet kitchen and family room.

Keeping our focus on creating period-appropriate details and furniture-like built-in cabinetry while at the same time embracing California's indoor-outdoor aesthetic, was key to the success of this project, allowing it to serve as a refined backdrop to the owner's eclectic collection of art and furniture.
